Nigerian influencer and public relations practitioner Joy Elozino, popularly known as Zee, has attracted attention on social media after Afrobeats artiste Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, followed her on X.

Elozino operates the X account @Elozino__, where she shares content focused largely on Wizkid, his music, career and family.

Speaking on her relationship with the singer’s music and career, Elozino said she had been a Wizkid fan since 2010 and had followed his career from its early years.

“I have been a Wizkid stan since 2010, his debut year, which is 16 years of stanning him,” she said.

According to her, she was initially active on Instagram before moving to X in 2019.

Elozino said she returned to active participation on the platform in December 2025 after a period of inactivity and grew an account from about 200 followers to more than 3,000 followers within a month.

She said she subsequently lost the account in February 2026 and created her current account, which she said had grown to more than 15,000 followers.

Elozino attributed the growth to consistency and her decision to maintain a specific focus on Wizkid, his music, career and family.

“I chose to focus on his family, his music and his career. Everything about Wizkid and the Balogun family became the niche I created for myself,” she said.

She also expressed appreciation to Wizkid and other artistes whom she said had acknowledged or supported her activities on social media.

“A very big appreciation to Wizkid, Wande Coal and Kyla of ‘One Dance’ for their acknowledgement, and every other artiste that has supported my brand,” she said.

Elozino said her experience had strengthened her belief that sustained engagement with entertainment subjects could create professional opportunities.

“I believe that stanship done right can create endless opportunities and turn dreams into realities,” she said.

Beyond her activities as a fan and digital content creator, Elozino said she is seeking to build a career in music public relations and publicity, with interests in advertising, brand partnerships and entertainment communications.

She also identifies herself as a certified feminine-care expert, beautician and forex trader, with interests spanning entertainment, beauty, public relations and digital media.

On her professional ambitions, Elozino said she hopes to establish herself as a music PR and publicity professional and eventually contribute to Wizkid’s projects through her experience in public relations and digital communications.

The latest development comes as social media continues to provide new avenues for interaction between artistes, entertainment professionals, influencers and fan communities.

For Elozino, her online activities have evolved from supporting an artiste whose career she has followed for years into an effort to develop a professional identity within the wider entertainment and digital media space.
