It sounds silly and unserious for any country to settle for leadership mediocrity on the grounds of geographical balancing, and GEJ lending himself to play that role is a flat mockery of his successful run in 2011, his ''gesture of statesmanship'' in 2015 – ''an act of patriotism'' that defined his place in history. Of course, and for several reasons, rational people should not vote to return him to power. That said, PBAT and his attack dogs have cause to fear a Jonathan entry into the fray because they have not performed in the 1st term. If Mr. Peter Obi is not enough headache for them, the entry of Jonathan will guarantee that all three of them, BAT, Obi, GEJ, will fail and Atiku will win.
