The "founding fathers" of Nigeria's independence were Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, and Sir Ahmadu Bello. These four men led nationalist movements, negotiated independence, and served in the early post-independence governments, though their roles and prominence varied by region. Sir Tafawa Balewa, Prime Minister from 1960 to 1966, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, President from 1963 to 1966, General Aguiyi Ironsi from 1966 to August 29, 1966, General Yakubu Gowon, August 1, 1996 to July 29, 1975, General Murtala Mohammed, July 29, 1975 to Feb. 13,1976, General Olusegun Obasanjo, Feb 13, 1976 to October 1, 1979, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, October 1, 1979 to December 31,1983, Major General Muhammadu Buhari, December 31st 1983 to August 27th 1985, General Ibrahim Babangida, August 27th 1985 to August 27th 1993, Chief Ernest Shonekan, August 26, 1993 to November 17th 1993, General Sani Abacha, November 17th 1993 to June 8th, 1998, Abdulsalami Abubakar, June 6th 1988 to May 29th, 1999, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, May 29th 1999 to May 29th 2007, Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar' Adua, May 29th , 2007 to May 5th, 2010, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, May 6th, 2010 to May 2015, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari , May 29th 2015 before handing over to the current president, Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Running through the list of the former leaders, Nigerians have not included the South East, the Igbos in particular in presiding over the affairs of Nigeria, even though Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe was in the forefront of this movement. The Igbos should be given a chance to produce the next President and I think Mr. Peter Obi should be the consensus candidate. Mr. Peter Obi seems to be more qualified than other contenders, because his words and actions are compatible, and remember that when words and actions are not compatible, creditability is lost, and when creditability is lost, everything is lost!

Mr. Atiku and his fellow hegemonists murdered PDP in 2022 when the party could have won the presidency hands down with any credible southern candidate. And true to his character, he poisons and destroys any party he joins, then runs away to try somewhere else. Zoning the PDP ticket to the south in 2027 is like handing the keys of a knocked-engine vehicle to a race-car driver – the engine won't start, and the vehicle won't run. If PDP wishes to resurrect and live again, it should quickly join the ADC alliance, remove Atiku from the equation and pick a candidate that can give the APC the fight of its life and be ready to fight it on all fronts including fighting INEC and keeping the SC on the blind path of justice. Nothing else could save Nigeria from the dangerous one-party autocracy it's threading towards right now. .

Those who killed PDP are now pretending to be saving it. Refusing to zone the ,last election to the south east the Hammer that finished PDP. Atiku was blinded by ambition and us still blind now.
if GEJ runs on the PDP ticket then obi most likely will not run but will GEJ agree to run seeing Inec has defected to the APC. Shameful
