Mr. Wike and his army of cash-for-hire judges and lawyers are gradually but steadily bleeding Rivers State of resources it could deploy on several other sectors for the good of its people. If for reasons of 2027 elections, Mr. PBAT cannot control or call Wike to order, what about the people of Rivers State instructing him that enough is enough already. The bottom line is that Wike is no longer the Governor of Rivers State. His predecessors and godfathers also made him Governor and let him rule without undue interference for 8years. It's time he let go and leave Mr. Fubara alone to perform his duties the best he can. As for his Presidential posturing, one hopes he has friends reliable enough to tell him the truth – that he, Wike, will never be president of Nigeria even if he pours $10b of his bunkering wealth into it. If Mr. Wike truly believes, as one hears he does, that he has Mr. Jonathan's type of extraordinary luck, he's drinking something stronger than 40yr-old whiskies.
