You want to see him on video to believe he is alive; you’re not satisfied with all the explanations out there in the public space. May God deliver us from present day education.

May the good Lord in his infinite mercies, give our seasoned warlord, patriotic and altruistic Chief of Army staff, General Taoreed Lagbaja, a swift and perfect recovery from his current health challenges so that he can come back and continue with the good work he has been doing in our polity against terrorists, insurrectionists and fifth columnists who are hell bent in rocking the ship of our state for their inordinate strips. But that will never be as General Lagbaja and his men and other arms of the military establishment coordinated by the self effacing, master tactician and strategist, General Chris Musa,are very much on top of the situation. It is well with our COAS and his noble heritage.

By not allowing Taoreed speak on video to Nigerians and when Nigerians believe he is dead,no one should blame Nigerians with same hide and seek game during Uar' arduah time.No body is above sickness and death but a public officer's health status must be made public!

Nigerians love and celebrate dead-wish, especially in the political circle. Public officials in Nigeria are super humans, they do not have to fall ill. Once a public official falls ill, the rumor mill triggers the death alarm and spread unfounded rumor faster than any missile alarm system. The Nigeria press are the active agents in this rumor mill, most often done on purpose for news baiting, without a twinge of conscience for the sick and family, hinged on the theory that bad and alarming news is good news for the press. Is there no ethical consideration in the practice of journalism? This is unfortunate.
