This simply explains why upon billions and billions spend on "turn around maintenance" our local refineries still do not work. There was never a plan to make it work because the goal was to continue importing. Mele Kyari needs to be added to the list of those to be sacked.

This so called Ahmed Farouk is a heavily compromised individual and deserves to be sacked immediately for he said on camera about our indigenous refineries if the President is serious about his renewed hope agenda. We cannot allow individuals who see nothing wrong with Nigeria importing fuel as a major crude oil producer. I get it that, this new refinery has put the NNPC and its sister agencies to shame and they are desperately fighting back for the shame they have brought to our country. You don't throw your own under the bus and expect foreigners to come and invest in the country. It is just a disaster to have such a character as a regulator in our country……….

This is one of the direct ways the colonial masters still exert their powers over Nigeria to ensure that we keep sending our crude to them to refine in their countries. Their IOCs are here in Nigeria to see to that. Huge bribes are given to Nigerian officials from one part of the country. A part of the country where whenever you see their people at the helm of affairs, there is always corruption in monumental proportions. Thats just the way the Fulanis do business. Endemic corruption business. This is why David Cameron in 2013 said "Nigeria is fantastically corrupt".

Dangoate must be supported at all cost. The National assembly MUST hereby employ an external auditing agency like SGS, PWC or KPMG to come and conduct an unplanned independent testing…and when the results are out, Farouk Ahmed should be invited to the National assembly/senate to answer questions and after answering questions, should be charged with treason and handed over to the DSS for sabotage of Nigeria.

How did he come to those figures when the regulator does not have testing facilities in or outside Nigeria and relies on the very IOCs whose survival depends on Nigeria's oil?
How is refined petroleum products tested before they enter Nigeria.
Why has this killing of our people gone on for so long because the reguilators allow IOCs dump dirty fuels which cannot be alowed to enter Europe and USA into Nigeria?

Farouk Ahmed's knack for corruption has cost Nigeria $26 billion in yearly revenue from his missed obligation in meeting the counterpart funding requirement from government for a 20% stake in the Dangoate group refinery.
