What else to expect from a Tinubu administration – that a leopard would suddenly change its spots? Sorry dear compatriots, the presidency does not change a man's character, it only reveals and confirms the character. PBAT would never change from a ''state-capturer'' to a statesman president who'd be doing things only for the good of man and country. No, he must award supply and resupply licenses to his friends, family and cronies even if that makes life worse for the common man that it already is. Any Awolokan can insult and abuse me for this view, but I'd challenge him to explain why NNPC must license hand-picked middle men to redistribute fuel already imported into Nigeria. While they are at it, they should also try explaining why we're spending more on fuel subsidy today than on 29 May, 2023 when PBAT made his thoughtless cavalier announcement – ''fuel subsidy is gone''.
