Was it not Okowa who hosted the Southern Governors Conference in Asaba where they unanimously agreed that power must go to the South after 8 years of Buhari’s rule? Was he not host to the consensus that no Southerner of any worth would accept the position of running mate to any Northern candidate? So, what has Chief Edwin Clark said that is not fact? When men exchange integrity for personal gain, they lose the right to complain when men of good conscience like Chief Edwin Clark call them out. By accepting to run with Mr. Atiku, Gov. Okowa betrayed his colleague Governors, betrayed the South, especially the SE which patriotic citizens agree should produce the next President as a matter of justice, fairness and equity.
